Twice each year, Box of Hope provides groceries plus Christmas gifts or back-to-school supplies to approximately 400 children in 250 North Tonawanda households. Families are connected through local schools and community relationships, with additional food provided for larger households.

Every Friday during the school year, Nourishment for Learning sends 60 local students home with nutritious, child-friendly food for the weekend. These dependable bags help bridge the gap between school meals, giving children one less barrier to returning ready to learn.

Fourteen Little Free Pantries make food accessible throughout North Tonawanda, offering neighbors a convenient place to turn when cupboards run low. Each week, volunteers stock six locations with donated shelf-stable groceries and other everyday necessities to help keep food within reach.

Pantry 383 provides emergency groceries to approximately 20 local households each week, including fresh food whenever supplies allow. Located on Oliver Street in North Tonawanda, just walking distance from Lumber City Church, the pantry offers families a consistent, welcoming source of food during periods of immediate need.

When a need cannot wait for a scheduled program, NeighborHOPE helps coordinate short-term, practical assistance through trusted local relationships and available resources. Support has included emergency groceries, food deliveries, household essentials, and help addressing other immediate needs as circumstances and resources allow.

We hope to help our neighbors pursue gainful employment through job-search guidance, résumé assistance, interview preparation, and appropriate clothing when needed—removing practical barriers and helping people approach new opportunities with confidence.
Through Lumber City Outfitters, we are connecting local people with clothing and practical essentials while building toward a sustainable, dignified community resource that supports everyday needs, workplace readiness, and important life transitions.

A recurring gift of $11.50 provides one local child with a weekend bag of nutritious, child-friendly food through Nourishment for Learning. Monthly support helps sustain this dependable program throughout the school year and gives students one less barrier to returning ready to learn.

New refrigeration at the Hope Center will allow us to safely store and distribute more fresh food, including meat and dairy products. This investment will strengthen Box of Hope distributions, expand pantry services, and improve our ability to respond when families need emergency food.

Paper products and personal-care items are urgently needed but rarely covered by traditional food-assistance programs. Your support can help NeighborHOPE build a dependable supply of these everyday necessities, giving local households practical help with expenses that food benefits do not address.
